One unexpected situation I encountered on my Treks is rain, which cut one of my sound recordings short. Something else that I didn't expect is how many people stared at me when I was recording sound, and even when I was taking pictures and video. I was afraid to get too close to kids at a park because they're mom kept looking at me strangely. Finally, I was surprised at how happy I felt after getting out and going on my Treks. Before I went out, I wasn't looking forward to it, but I always felt better when I got home.
